Audio Mixing Console

-Mix engineer-

For mixing services I typically charge per track with a 50% deposit upfront to be paid and the rest of the agreed fee upon completion. Typically I will provide a rough mix and alternate based on your initial specifications and the references you provided- following this you decide what you like best, what sounds great and what still needs work. I work in the box entirely at this time but will be running a hybrid set up down the road. I have plugins from Universal Audio, Klevgrand, Waves, Musik Hack, Softube, Izotope, Beatsurfing, and many more.

Session work

I will provide you upon request guitar, bass, singing saw (26 inch Stanley wood saw played with a violin bow), programmed drums acoustic and realistic or electronic. Gear listed down this page.

-Producer-

Do you like my instrumentals? Do you crave sounds a little more out there, to make music that isn't always easy to label, and is quite possibly near impossible to market? Then i'm your man! I can also help you workshop things- I am an idea man when the shoe fits or  I have a whole host of finished beats and instrumentals available for purchase- you can hear examples of my productions in my selected works and on my Bandcamp. if interested I can show you some more or we can discuss crafting you an original track in my own style. Additionally I have a talent for writing lyrics and editing and can help with this task as well- anonymously of course.

Important info/please read

All jobs will start with a meeting where I will try and get as much information as I can about the project and your goals, such as your budget and timeline and general expectations and work flow. If you are hiring me to mix I request that A: send me your stems- i.e creative fx baked in, Your songs should be more or less complete sans mixing. Your vocals should already be pitch corrected. Two tracks (vocals + instrumental) are fine however the more tracks the better. Its a lot easier mixing drums when you have the snare, kick, and overheads as separate files. More tracks = more control/fine tuning. B: Reference tracks, they can be songs you've released or songs that sonically resemble what you're going for- one is fine but please note what it is you like most and what is less or wholly unimportant- (note- this does not always mean they are from the same genre as yours!)  If you are still working on your songs then you should not hire me to mix until they are ready for the finishing touches before release. If the job ends up with me being asked to put my fingerprint on the music creatively I will gladly do the work but payment will be probably be renegotiated depending on how big my producer hat is going to be.

Gear available for session work and production

Drums are programmed and edited note by note via Superior Drummer or piano roll in Reaper using drum kits in my collection as well as samples synthesized and collected myself  in the field. Aside from a host of soft synths I also have an Elektron Syntakt, which I use often when I need one shots or a mono synth or more hands on drum patterns. Additional instruments include three string cigar box, a vintage Casio CK-500, Landscape FM Noon, a 2021 Fender Jag-Stang, 2023 LTD MIJ Fender Mustang with a custom homemade bridge pup and vintage spec neck pup converted to baritone, an Ibanez Micro bass setup by one of the best bassists in Florida, and a partscaster running Dimarzio humbuckers. I own and am competent with a banjo, mandolin, violin and the singing saw. I own several Neural DSP amp sims, but for effects for my real life string instruments I have a collection of stomp boxes I prefer to use when given the choice. I can provide backup vocals as well-my mic locker and analog effects will be provided upon request via email.

Get in touch so we can start making beautiful (or hideously awesome, bone crushing) music together. And everything in between those two extremes. Of which I am definitely capable of. I'll bet ya
